“Yvonne was accommodating with timings for sessions and prompt in all communications. The sessions were of just the right length and were not rushed or awkward in any way. I found it to be a real eye opener in techniques and Yvonne patiently and calmly talked me through each one and gave me helpful examples when I didn’t quite understand what to do or what to imagine. I found the tapping very helpful and peripheral vision to trigger the parasympathetic nervous system; when Yvonne confidently said “you can’t be anxious when doing this!” it was absolutely true and I now use this technique often. It was also good to feel like I was being taught tools to help myself, permanently, in the future rather than having traditional “therapy” and being dependent on the therapist for support. Yvonne teaches and promotes self-help from the very start. I would thoroughly recommend Yvonne to anyone suffering anxiety, a fear of facing situations, wanting to shift to a more positive mindset and regain control rather than feeling like life controls them.
